BridgeDeposit ("we", "us", "our") is the consumer-facing brand owned and operated by Rethela Technology Pvt Ltd. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information in connection with the BridgeDeposit website and related services (the "Service"). It is written to be clear for both project developers (builders) and funders (including institutional funders such as NBFCs and private banks).
This Policy applies to individuals and organisations who visit or use the Service, including developers submitting project and legal documents, funders reviewing projects, and institutional partners. When we refer to "you" below, this means any user of the Service.
We use personal information to provide and operate the Service, verify uploaded documents, enable introductions between developers and funders, process payments through our partners, communicate with you, and for fraud prevention and security. We may also use aggregated or de‑identified data for analytics and product improvement.
Documents you upload are used solely to run verification processes and to present verification outcomes to approved funders. We retain documents and related metadata only as long as necessary to provide the Service and in accordance with legal and contractual obligations. If verification fails, we will return findings and (when applicable) refund the verification fee according to our terms.
Institutional funders (including NBFCs and private banks) that receive access to verified developer information must perform their own due diligence before entering into any funding commitment. BridgeDeposit facilitates access and escrow coordination with regulated partners; it does not provide investment advice. Access by funders is governed by contractual terms and controlled via the platform's permissions.
We share personal information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf (for example: cloud hosting, identity verification, analytics, payment and escrow processors). All processors are contractually required to use the data only for the purposes we specify and to maintain appropriate security measures. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
We may disclose personal information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. We may also disclose information to protect our rights, enforce agreements, investigate fraud, or respond to an emergency that threatens public safety.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data category and purpose; you can request details about retention for your data by contacting us (see below).
We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Examples include encryption, access controls, monitoring, and regular security assessments. However, no system is perfectly secure; please follow best practices when sharing sensitive data.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit our use of your personal information. To exercise these rights or to request a copy of data we hold about you, contact us at the email address below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
For privacy or data subject requests and legal inquiries contact our legal team at legal@bridgedeposit.services.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
